“Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” chapter 38 is the latest story from the manga created by Masashi Kishimoto. At this point, Hachi has been going around to search for other key holders just like himself. He has the mission to look for them so that they could work and save the universe together.

In the previous chapter 37 that featured the story titled “Rivals,” the cat samurai Hanaichi and Goku, his pupil, have been introduced. His connection with Daruma was also revealed in this chapter.
The first meeting with Hanaichi and Goku was intense as Sen immediately attacked the former after seeing him. In turn, Goku fought back until Daruma saw what was happening and stopped them. It turned out that Sen reacted the way she did because she thought Hanaichi was a criminal.
He later explained that he did not commit any major crime, although he admitted that he belongs to Usumasa style, the same group that Ata and Kala belong to. Hanaichi further disclosed that he does not have any link with them now because he severed ties with them after Kala replaced him for Ata.
The new alliance of the 4 keys
As posted on Reddit’s discussion board for “Samurai 8,” Hanaichi has a long history with Daruma. They were revealed to be rivals in the past as it was Hanaichi who sealed Daruma in a cat’s body while it was Daruma who sealed his to a dog’s body. Today, they are on friendlier terms, and in fact, when Hanaichi asked Daruma for an alliance, the latter did not think twice and agreed.
Now, with their team-up, the four keys consisting of Hachimaru, Goku, Ryu, and Sen have formed an alliance as well. With all of them in a group, it is interesting to see how the enemies will go against them in “Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” chapter 38.
At any rate, Ata sets out to hunt for Hachimaru in “Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” chapter 38. He is going after him because he is the only thing that is impeding the plans of the Ususama School. He is currently collecting souls of samurais by destroying them, and it will be soon when he'll have a battle with Hachi and the other key holders.
Release Date
As per Manga Plus, “Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” chapter 38 is set to be released on Monday, Feb. 17. Raw scans will be out earlier, probably on Feb. 15. Check out this manga on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.
