Selena Gomez's health is like a rollercoaster ride: one day she is up and about and the next she is in the hospital again. Also, her condition is not just about her physical health, she is also known to have mental health issues.
Selena Gomez has lupus, which is incurable, and there are complications arising from this illness. She had chemotherapy and underwent kidney transplant last year in order to treat her condition, and thankfully she has recovered.
She was back in the limelight several months after her operation and treatments. But not long after that, she had to enter a rehabilitation center to address her mental health. Selena Gomez suffers from anxiety attacks so she checked herself into a facility for therapy.
Her latest hospitalization and rehab stint happened only in October, and according to Entertainment Tonight, the former “Wizards of Waverly Place” star was brought to the hospital to seek mental health treatment following her emotional breakdown.
According to the report, Selena Gomez has been struggling with depression since her kidney transplant last year. The singer-actress also sought treatment at a mental health facility after being discharged from the hospital.
Now, weeks after her health scare, Hollywood Life reported that Justin Bieber’s ex is doing well. The source added that although Selena has gotten better, “her body continues to be fragile and she fears she will always worry about one of her many health issues. But, for this brief moment, she is feeling much stronger, healthier and happier.”
Meanwhile, it was alleged that Justin Bieber felt guilty and upset when the news about Selena Gomez’s health and emotional breakdown came out. The 24-year-old pop star, who recently tied the knot with model Hailey Baldwin, was also spotted crying a few times in public, and people suspect that this was because of his first love. He reportedly still worries about Selena and wants the best for her.
