Subway is starting off the new year with the addition of new sandwiches to the menu. Starting this week, the sandwich chain will be selling two new subs, and customers will also be thrilled for the return of five favorite food items.
As per QSR Magazine, Subway is bringing back five favorites due to the high demand of the customers. The company is also releasing two fresh subs that are expected to become new favorites as well. These are also set to become part of signature exclusives for Subway U.S.’ menu.
One of the new sandwiches is called the Baja Turkey Avocado Sub, and as suggested by its name, it has turkey and avocadoes. This sandwich features oven-roasted turkey meat, mashed avocado and layered with cucumber, lettuce, spinach, green peppers, and red onion.
The spicy Baja Chipotle sauce is drizzled on top to complete the sandwich. The flavorful ingredients are all encased in multigrain bread.
The other new sub sandwich is called the Honey Mustard Rotisserie-Style Chicken. This has the famous Subway rotisserie-style chicken meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, spinach, red onion, and green pepper. The sandwich is dressed with honey mustard sauce and served in multigrain bread as well.
For the sandwiches that are returning to Subway stores and this includes Roast Beef and it is back with great improvements. The roasting of the Angus Roast Beef has been upgraded, and veggies like lettuce, cucumbers, spinach, onions, and tomatoes add a bit of crunch to the sandwich.
The Subway Club has also returned, and this features two types of meat - oven-roasted turkey and black forest ham. It has veggies as well and is served in multigrain bread. The other three sandwiches are the Baja Steak & Jack, Turkey Cali Fresh, and the Baja Chicken & Bacon.
Meanwhile, customers can also enjoy special treats when they dine at Subway in the U.S. there is a 15% off offer for any footlong sandwich ordered through the sandwich chain’s app or online. At the checkout, people just need to enter the promo code “15OFF” to get the discount, and this promo is available until March 27 but is limited to one use per order.
Finally, Mashed mentioned that customers could order their Baja Turkey Avocado Sub sandwich in any participating Subway locations across the country.
