Tesla began shipping the Cybertruck five weeks ago, and owners have already customized it. So far, they've only used matte or gloss black. However, a green Cybertruck was sighted recently.
A Tesla Cybertruck Appearance in Military Green
As per autoevolution, this might be the world's first military-green Cybertruck. The model is the hero of Our Cyber Life, a YouTube channel where owners record their experiences: road excursions, first rain, and first neighbor taken on a ride are just a few of the themes covered on the channel.
The person who reserved the Cybertruck stated that he married the love of his life four years ago and then met his second love: the electric pickup truck itself. He received the car just before Christmas, not at the ceremonial handover event on November 30 at the Giga Texas, but at a dealership in Austin, Texas. It had been four years in the making, and it had finally come.
The matte wrap enhances the vehicle's angular appearance by contrasting the black cladding on the fenders and plastic rubber wheel covers, as well as the LED strip ahead that serves as the headlights. The channel chronicles their daily lives aboard the Cybertruck.
They went on a road trip with it and experienced the first rain together. Fortunately, the vehicle tonneau did not allow water intrusion, therefore there was no leak. So far, the green wrap color is the third we've seen on a Tesla Cybertruck.
The first car to appear with no stainless-steel shade revealed was driven by the company's head designer, Franz von Holzhausen, during a "cars and coffee" event in Santa Monica three weeks before the Giga Texas handover. The model wore a ferocious-looking Stealth Matte Black wrap.
T Sportline then debuted the world's first Cybertruck in gloss black, and the vehicle resembled a mirror, reflecting everything around it. The model was prepared to be picked up by a "VIP customer."
Pharrell's Tesla Cybertruck Arrived For Early Celebrity Deliveries
Of all the odd and unique automobiles we've seen celebrities drive over the years, it wasn't a stretch to believe that the Tesla Cybertruck would be a top priority for some of them. The first A-list celebrity to acquire the truck, Pharrell Williams, was photographed in a Tesla Cybertruck in the Miami Design District, just outside of the Louis Vuitton shop in the South Florida metropolis, Teslarati reported.
Williams is the first notable person spotted driving the Cybertruck. How did he get hold of it? We don't know, but we're quite confident he wasn't sitting in front of a computer or TV in November 2019 hoping to make a reservation for an early build of the Cybertruck.
Nonetheless, Cybertruck's release is already noteworthy. Many people are already familiar with Tesla's first try at a pickup truck. Those who are unfamiliar with Tesla, the EV industry, or vehicles in general are certainly familiar with Pharrell, who has a massive Instagram following and has been recognized for his songs throughout the years.
The Cybertruck might be the next big thing in flashy cars that celebrities want to drive around for appearances and exposure. The Cybertruck is perhaps the most divisive and unusual vehicle on the market today, and with deliveries starting in late November, there will only be a few handfuls available.
Pharrell's notoriety and influence are certainly important factors in his ability to purchase a Cybertruck when many others cannot. Tesla intends to greatly increase manufacturing this year, putting the pickup in the hands of more individuals other than staff and celebrities with connections.
