“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 10 is coming up, and it promises the reveal of a new artifact that may have a connection to the cross they found earlier. But as usual, this chapter will be filled with more diggings around the island, and they will not focus on the swamp.
As per TV Guide, the plot summary for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 10 titled “Gary Strikes Again” reads: Excitement abounds when Gary uncovers what could be a friend of the cross.”
Has any treasure been dug up yet?
Like the previous episodes, there will be more excavations in the upcoming chapter, but even if they have already said that they believe they are getting closer to the Money Pit, Rick, Marty Lagina, and their team of experts have not uncovered any treasures yet. However, they did mention that they found new evidence that will lead them to the gems that treasure hunters have been looking for since the late 1700s.
What did Gary found?
As Gary works using his metal detector, the team seems to have unearthed a piece of rectangular metal. It was dug up in shaft 2, and there are suggestions that it is possible it came from the Knights Templar and connected to the cross. Of course, the Lagina brothers will need to have it tested so they can determine what it is and from what era it came from.
Structure in shaft 2
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 10 will move away from the swamp a bit and go back to shaft 2 where they believe the structure they discovered there is the oldest one that was built by the very first treasure hunters on the island. They one boldly claimed that the structure means they are just 14 feet away from the Money Pit.
As for the swamp, they are getting more evidence that points out it is really man-made. It was placed there to conceal the treasures. “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 10 will show the Lagina brothers and crew digging to find the 14-foot tunnel that will finally bring them to the valuables that will solve the 224-year-old mystery.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 10 will be on air on Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. on History.
