The Lagina brothers and their crew are set to return for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 8. Finally, this was already confirmed and a new update from History teases fans about what they will see when the docu-reality show returns.
Fans are excited about this because “The Curse of Oak Island” season 8 promised to be the most thrilling season yet. This is because the Lagina brothers and their crew are set to take their treasure-hunting to the next level. It can be said that this eight season will be the show’s biggest expedition since it aired in 2014.
The newest preview and what it revealed
Previously, the Lagina brothers and the rest of the team have unearthed major clues in borehole 10X and the Money Pit. A huge can was brought on the island to scoop up objects at a deeper level. They found woods, metals and many more that gave them clues as to what could be under the ground.
Now, in the upcoming “The Curse of Oak Island” season 8, its sneak peek revealed that the team will focus on the swamp and the Money Pit. This time, they will be using more advanced gadgets and equipment to aid with the dig.
This will be a historic dig in the entire treasure-hunting expeditions on Oak Island that has been going on for more than two hundred years now. The Lagina brothers are hoping that this will be the period when the secrets of the treasures would finally be discovered.
"The swamp becomes the focus of a major excavation to uncover a newly found structure and more importantly, to get to the bottom of why this bog was artificially modified or created as much as 800 years ago," the voice in the preview stated.
Furthermore, the sneak peek of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 8 added, "And Rick, Marty, Craig and the team will prepare for the operation that they have been working their way toward since they took over the Oak Island treasure hunt more than a decade ago: the 'Big Dig' in the Money Pit."
Airdate
At any rate, the air date for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 8 was already announced by History. It will premiere on Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. on History.
