Based on everything that has been happening in the manga recently, it is becoming increasingly clear that nothing is clear in “The Promised Neverland.” There are surprises on top of twists that deviate from even more turns in the story. At this point, it would not be a shock to find out that it is all a dream borne from Emma’s imagination. Based on what is about to occur in “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 132, it might just be.
As OtakuKart reports, the previous chapter saw Emma and Ray suddenly finding themselves transported back to Gracefield House. On top of the fact that the orphanage should have been burned to the ground, it is currently hundreds of miles away from their current location. Even so, this is exactly where they will find themselves in “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 132. At least, this seems to be the case.
However, with this development being as crazy as it is, the story is becoming increasingly farfetched. As it is, something could happen in “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 132 that could confirm a theory that has been brewing in the community. The events in this manga and in the anime could be nothing more than a fantasy in a very sick mind of an insane child.
One can only hope that this is not the case and that “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 132 will see Ray and Emma instead meeting the boss of all the demons. What’s more, it would be great if there is a rational explanation to the whole getting transported into a dream-like world aspect. That still needs to be covered, after all.
Whether or not any of these potential developments or none of them come true remains to be seen. Fans will just have to wait until “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 132 comes out on April 21.
