“This Is Us” season 4 is not yet officially renewed but it is definitely airing because there were reports that the series is ending after the sixth installment. This means that fans can enjoy three more seasons before the show says goodbye.
But is the show really ending in season 6? Milo Ventimiglia acknowledged that he also heard about it but still, he said that there is still the possibility that there is more beyond the sixth.
On his Feb. 21 guesting on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Ellen mentioned about the reports of “This Is Us” final season and the actor said, "We never know where we’re going to go. We never know what’s going to happen.”
He added, "The show could have a huge spike in Season 6 and everybody wants more beyond that, but I think creatively, they have an idea of what they’d like to do to kind of wrap it up in this nice story.”
Although it is not exactly happy news, Milo Ventimiglia explained that the production team may have deemed it right to end “This Is Us” in season 6 based on how the story is progressing. He also offered some positive insight with the finale report by saying, "At least the audience knows, the fans know, they’re going to get three more seasons, which is nice we can commit.”
Meanwhile, the series is still airing its third season and few more episodes left before the finale. The upcoming “This Is Us” season 3 episode 14 titled “The Graduates” will be the comeback story after the show took a two-week break.
As per Express, the episode will be hectic because Kate was seen being wheeled to a hospital. Plus, Kevin is keeping a secret from his girl, Zoe, and this will obviously cause conflict later. As to what is wrong with Kate, it will be answered when episode 14 airs.
“This Is Us” season 3 episode 14 will return on March 5 at 9 p.m. on NBC
