Gunfire Near Trump's Golf Club Raises Security Concerns
The campaign of Donald Trump has reported that shots have been fired in his area.
"President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” stated Steven Cheung, his campaign spokesperson.
A gunfight broke out outside the West Palm Beach, Florida, golf club of the former president, as reported by the New York Post. Right away, the golf course was secured, and Trump had to be rushed to safety.
The shooting was not "targeting Trump," according to the news program.
Trump Golfing Near Mar-a-Lago When Gunshots Occurred
The club is located not far from Trump's primary property, Mar-a-Lago, and US media sites reported that the 78-year-old went golfing there today.
According to Secret Service chief spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi, the gunshot happened on Sunday just before 2 p.m. local time. He repeated, "The former president is safe," and added that the agency is looking into the matter "in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office."

No Injuries After Shooting Incident Near Trump’s Golf Course
Shots rang out near Trump's West Palm Beach golf course, but no one was hurt, according to the sheriff's office.
The Republican presidential nominee was the target of an assassination attempt only two months ago, according to The Telegraph. Trump was the target of gunfire during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13 from gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks. The ex-president's ear was slightly wounded by one bullet.
The elite agency was heavily criticized for its handling of the Butler, Pennsylvania event, which resulted in the death of one person and significant injuries to two more.
