U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran on Monday amid intensifying conflict with Israel, urging an immediate evacuation of Tehran and reaffirming his stance against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“Iran should have signed the deal I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” Trump posted on social media. He added, “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”

The statement follows a dramatic escalation in Middle East tensions, with Israel launching airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites last week, triggering Iran’s harsh retaliation. Iranian missiles reportedly struck multiple targets across Israel, including the financial hub of Tel Aviv, in what analysts describe as the worst military exchange between the two nations in over three decades.

Trump’s remarks reflect his long-standing opposition to Iran’s nuclear program, a cornerstone of his foreign policy during his presidency. He had previously claimed his administration was attempting to broker a ceasefire between the two countries, though the situation on the ground has shown little sign of easing.

According to reports by Reuters, Iran has sought support from Gulf nations to pressure the United States into restraining Israel and pushing for a ceasefire. However, Trump remains firm on his position that Iran should be prohibited from enriching uranium, a stance Tehran continues to reject.

The ongoing hostilities raise fresh concerns over regional stability and global energy markets, as Iran remains a major oil producer and tensions could threaten critical supply routes. The geopolitical crisis also renews debate over nuclear proliferation and the effectiveness of diplomacy in deterring armed conflict.

As the situation unfolds, the international community watches closely for any signs of de-escalation—or further escalation—in the volatile Middle East.
