SAN JOSE, Calif., March 27, 2018 -- Tredence, the first analytics services company focused on the last mile of analytics adoption, announced today that it has opened a Center of Excellence in Chicago, which it is quickly staffing in order to serve its growing base of Fortune 500 clients.
Headquartered in San Jose, Calif., Tredence is known for helping large enterprises solve vexing business challenges using data and technology. From data collection through translating insights into action and impact, Tredence partners with the client to operationalize analytics. The company works across verticals, with deep experience in the retail, CPG, industrial, travel and hospitality, food and beverage, telecom, pharmaceutical and financial services spaces.
There are four broad steps to enabling last-mile analytics adoption within enterprises: data analysis, generating insights, making recommendations, and translating those recommendations into action for the front lines leading to sustainable business impact. While other analytics services firm focus only on the first three steps, Tredence covers all four.
Tredence co-founder and CEO Shub Bhowmick said, “Chicago is the perfect place for our US Center of Excellence. It has a high concentration of great universities and related firms, which will be great for recruiting, and it’s centrally located, making it easy to travel to just about anywhere our clients are in the US.”
“Tredence currently employs 250 people,” added Bhowmick. “As we ramp up our Chicago presence, we expect that number to double by the end of 2018.”
Tredence is hiring aggressively to meet the high demand for its services. In addition to serving clients out of Chicago, Tredence will also develop Intellectual Property for future products and services. Its Chicago office is based in the Loop, at 111 E. Wacker Drive.
