BTS is being protected by their fans and this happened again this week. The ARMYs showed big concern for their favorite South Korean boy band when they noticed a female staff member who constantly breaks the rules set by Big Hit when assisting the idol singers.
Koreaboo reported “Big Hit Protect Your Artists” or “BH_아티스트_보호해” trended on social media, especially in South Korea, as fans called out the attention of Big Hit Entertainment. They want the company to do something so that the member’s privacy will not be violated further.
Fans have also addressed their message to the company because they are frustrated with its lack of action when it seems that they have already complained about this in the past. The calls are not just for BTS alone but for TXT as well.
Why fans are angry at Big Hit’s staff members
The fans posted several screenshots to show that some of the staff members assigned to BTS have shown a not-so-pleasant behavior. Apparently, the images were taken from clips in the group’s “Bangtan Bomb” variety show. In one picture, Jin is seen taking a photo using his DSLR camera and on his side, a staff member is clearly taking photos of the singer.
Another picture showed a blurred out image of the staff who was peeking in a room where Suga is sleeping. Fans are suggesting that she could be trying to find her chance to take a photo but luckily, Jungkook came in and the staff failed to take a picture. Lastly, still in BTS’ show, a screenshot showed RM and Jin in the hallway of a hotel and while talking, the female staff took out her smartphone and started taking pictures of Jin, in close range.
Alleged complete disregard for Big Hit’s staff guidelines
Fans want Big Hit to summoned the staff involved because what they did was actually a breach in the company’s policy involving the staff and artists. They said that the company already posted guidelines on how the staff should move around and treat BTS and the other artists in the agency but these were disregarded. They added that instead, there are staff members who curse out the artist behind their backs.
“She has no right to take pictures of the artist on her personal phone and act like nothing happen,” one fan commented. “@BigHitEnt Protect your artists, it’s been years now and it’s boiling again and again.”
Big Hit Entertainment has yet to respond to these allegations coming from the fans.
