Barbra Streisand is said to be suffering from compulsive eating disorder and it was so severe that the songstress is allegedly already dying from it. It was added that doctors have warned the songstress about her overeating problem because the disorder is pushing her to her death.
According to Globe, Barbra Streisand has been secretly battling the said eating disorder and experts are afraid that her obsession with food will cause her demise. The publication added that Dr. Stuart Fischer relayed that if the singer will not treat her compulsive eating disorder, she will be very vulnerable to deadly diseases and medical conditions.
It was alleged that the doctor specifically mentioned heart disease and hypertension as one of the dangerous effects of overeating. Then again, the suspicion that Barbra Streisand may be suffering from compulsive eating disorder may have come from her previous interview with The Daily Mail.
In her chat with the paper, the singer admitted that she loves food so much that she eats when she is sad and she also eats when she is happy. “People don’t realize what food does for you. It makes you feel good,” Barbra added.
Now, according to Gossip Cop, this interview led Globe to diagnose Barbra Streisand with the fatal eating disorder. And this is why it is debunking the story for being baseless.
The fact-checking site pointed out that although what the eating disorder experts say are true, they do not apply to Barbra Streisand. In short, the singer is not suffering from any sort of food obsession or eating disorder. In fact, the publication added that Globe left out the fact that the singer also mentioned that she is currently on a diet during the interview with The Daily Mail.
Overall, the report that Barbra Streisand is dying from eating too much is false. She is in good health and in fact, she still has many shows scheduled. She cannot possibly keep up with her work if she is sick, right?
