Family Mart has long been known for its delectable and budget-friendly offerings. In a recent collaboration with Baskin Robbins Japan, the store is set to introduce two new tantalizing additions to its lineup, delighting customers nationwide.
Sweet Treats Arrive
Starting this month, Family Mart outlets will stock two varieties of Baskin Robbins macarons. Priced at 280 yen (US$1.85) per package, each containing two delightful morsels, these sweet treats are set to captivate the taste buds of dessert enthusiasts everywhere.
According to Soranews 24, the flavors of these new macarons were chosen based on a poll conducted among Baskin Robbins fans. Love Potion #31 and Caramel Ribbon emerged as the top picks, with the former claiming the coveted first place and the latter securing a respectable third spot.
Love Potion #31 Magic
The Love Potion #31-Style Macaron duo features raspberry and white chocolate cream fillings, each adorned with chocolate chips. These delightful treats promise to encapsulate the essence of the beloved Baskin Robbins flavor.
Caramel Delight
The Caramel Ribbon-Style Macarons are a must-try for those with a penchant for caramel. These goodies boast vanilla cream and caramel sauce sandwiched between two caramel-flavored macarons, offering a simple yet irresistible flavor combination.
While Love Potion #31 and Caramel Ribbon clinched the spotlight in this release, some may wonder about the absence of the renowned Popping Shower flavor. Previously hailed as the reigning champion at Baskin Robbins Japan, this flavor no longer features in polls due to its established popularity.
Future Flavors and Nationwide Availability
PR Times noted that although the current offerings are set to entice customers in eastern Japan, plans are underway to extend the availability of these macarons to Family Mart branches in western Japan by March 26. As customers eagerly await further flavor releases, the anticipation for more delectable surprises grows.
With these new Baskin Robbins macarons at Family Mart, sweet treat enthusiasts and dessert connoisseurs have new reasons to celebrate. The collaboration between these renowned brands promises a delightful fusion of flavors that will leave a lasting impression on customers across Japan.
