The final season of “Better Call Saul” is coming up and it will surely be an exciting feature from AMC. Season 6 will conclude and it is interesting to see what will happen to the characters, especially Kim Wexler who is not part of the “Breaking Bad” series where this drama was based on.
In the finale of the fifth season, Kim and her husband, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) are in danger after being entangled with Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton). It can be recalled that he was furious after learning that Nacho (Michael Mando) has conspired with the others to kill him and Jimmy is involved because he was also connected to Nacho.
On the other hand, Kim (Rhea Seehorn) shocked her husband when she proposed a wicked scheme of sabotaging her former boss Howard (Patrick Fabian) so they can settle the Sandpiper lawsuit. It turned out that almost all the strong characters have plans in “Better Call Saul” season 6 and these are either for revenge or self-interest.
Showrunner’s spoiler about Kim
In any case, recently, showrunner Peter Gould dropped hints on Kim Wexler’s fate. As mentioned earlier, she is a character that has not appeared in “Breaking Bad” yet she is Jimmy/Saul Goodman’s wife. So, what happened to her that she did not make it to Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul’s series?
The showrunner was not too eager to share some spoilers but his answers during an interview with Entertainment Weekly somehow gave away tidbits about how some of the characters will end. “Better Call Saul” season 6 is concluding with 13 episodes and below are the clues he shared regarding Jimmy and Kim.
“Anybody who watches the show carefully and is thinking about where this is all going, one of the questions you have to ask yourself is: ‘What does this man deserve?’" he told EW. “Does Jimmy McGill deserve death or love? What would be the most fitting end for this guy — for the show?”
He suggested that Kim may die when he said that “obviously the end for everybody is death, but that may not be where we leave this guy (Jimmy).” Since people saw him in “Breaking Bad”
he indeed lived whereas Kim is nowhere to be found, suggesting she did not make it in their battle against their foes.
Release date
At any rate, the mystery of Kim’s disappearance will be revealed in “Better Call Saul” season 6, Express reported that the final run is set to return in 2021 and it will be streamed on Netflix.
