‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 18, titled “A Deep Blue Goodbye,” will follow Danny as he investigates the case of a missing ex-NYPD officer. Frank will also face a dilemma of his own when his peer, Chief Taylor Daniels, refuses to retire despite hitting the age limit at work.
The synopsis for “A Deep Blue Goodbye” posted on TV Guide reads, “Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) investigates the disappearance of a former cop who planned to make amends with a woman she wrongfully convicted years ago.
Meanwhile, Frank (Tom Selleck) must deal with a peer who refuses to retire, even though he's hit a mandatory age limit.”
The upcoming episode will follow detective Danny Reagan as he works on a case of a former New York Police Department (NYPD) officer who goes missing on the day she reveals to him her plans to make amends to a woman she wrongfully convicted in the years past.
Meanwhile, according to Cartermatt, Commissioner Frank Reagan will head an investigation that explores misconduct within the Mayor’s office. He will also face a dilemma when one of his peers, Chief Taylor Daniels (Isaiah Washington), refuses to retire despite hitting the age limit at work. It will be interesting to see if Frank or Taylor will find a workaround to the situation.
Although there seems to be no details regarding Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie’s (Vanessa Ray) relationship, it is possible that the new episode will follow their continuing involvement with each other before the season comes to a close.
‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 18, titled “A Deep Blue Goodbye,” is scheduled to air on CBS on March 31, 2017. It was directed by David Barrett and written by Kevin Wade. It will be followed by episode 19, titled “Love Lost”, scheduled to be released on April 7 and directed by Ralph Hemecker.
