Burger King unveiled its upcoming offerings earlier this week; customers would not want to miss them. The home of Whopper Burgers said it will launch new $1 deals that will run for an entire week.
Burger King said that starting Sunday, March 10, customers may buy their favorites at the store for just $1. In addition, it will offer free breakfast food items this weekend, which will be available for several days.
Special Promo for the Upcoming DST
As per Food & Wine, the burger joint is introducing these new offerings to honor Daylight Saving Time, which will begin on the same day as the start of the exclusive promos. Burger King said it wants to help the public overcome any issues related to the time shift, as this will also affect many commonly used devices, including kitchen appliances like the microwave.
The fast-food giant said that to compensate for DST's hassles, it will add exciting deals in its stores for an entire week. The restaurant said the primary purpose of these offerings is for customers to "keep their week on track following the dreaded loss of an hour due to daylight savings."
Free Food Under the Affordable Deals
Burger King will present one special offering for each day under its "Pi Day" deals. However, it should be noted that only Royal Perks members are eligible for the promo. Signing up for membership is very easy via the Burger King app and its website, so non-members can register at once to enjoy the latest perks.
Burger King will give away these Daylight Savings Time-inspired free food items: a Croissan'wich breakfast sandwich on March 10, 5-piece French toast sticks on March 11, a bottle of Simply orange juice on March 12, arge hash browns on March 13, Hershey's Sundae Pie on March 14, large vanilla iced coffee on March 15, and Burger King will wrap up the week's deals by giving away free sausage biscuits.
However, customers may get freebies for food items worth $1 or more. For the Hershey's Sundae Pie deal, a purchase of $3.14 or more is required.
Daylight Saving Time in U.S.
DST is taking effect in the United States as Spring time approaches. This means longer daylight hours are underway in the region, so Americans will have more hours under the sun.
Finally, USA Today reported that the DST will start on March 10 at 2 a.m. in the country. By then, the clocks will be set to one hour ahead. This time adjustment affects the daily lives of the locals since they need to modify their clocks and may affect sleeping hours, too, as sunsets come later under the DST.
