Dallas drivers did a double-take this week as a Cybertruck outfitted with a laundry machine cruised through traffic. The inventive rig, created by a local handyman, showcases Tesla’s unparalleled versatility.
Cybertruck Laundry Machine Surprises Dallas Drivers
Spectacular footage of a Tesla Cybertruck stuck in traffic while toting a fully functional washing machine was uploaded to Reddit this week.
With the description "Cyber laundry seen in Dallas," they attached the video.
After seeing the Cyberlaundry in operation, we couldn't wait to speak with the driver. It seems to be a reason to hook up a common household item like this to these brutalist pickups because they resemble industrial appliances.
Fortunately, we had no trouble contacting the mobile laundry because the driver had his company's phone number prominently displayed on the truck's tailgate, Futurism shares.
Vladimir, the driver, owns a service called Handy&Man and is a handyman in Dallas. During our short phone conversation, Vladimir—who claims to have been generally satisfied with this purchase—verified that the Cybertruck-attached washer is actually a dryer.
Handyman Uses Cybertruck for Mobile Laundry
The handyman confessed, "This idea was in my head for last month or so," since he had only just fastened the dryer to the electric vehicle, which was manufactured by Tesla. "I just wanted to make fun... basically, no car can do this, other than the Cybertruck."
Vladimir mentioned that he took the dryer for a spin for forty to fifty minutes and didn't observe any major drain on the battery life of the automobile. However, he did acknowledge that this could vary based on the driver's pace. The remedy isn't permanent, even though he did dry some material. He merely did it for the sake of it and the energy it generated.
"People's faces would be serious," Vladimir recounted, "but as soon as they saw my truck, they were smiling and starting to wave."
Cybertruck to Lose Its Laundry Mod Soon
He went on to say that he plans to remove the dryer from the Cybertruck soon and mentioned that he could "go one more time" before doing so. However, if you find yourself in Dallas and are unable to attend Cyberlaundry this time, there is still hope. When we inquired about the possibility of a future round two, he did not completely dismiss the idea.
"Well, you know, when I have free time," he thought to himself, "and feel like doing it."
