This week is extremely risk heavy. Expect lots of volatility.
What to watch for over the coming days:
- Central banks:
Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) will announce interest rate decision on Tuesday. Bank of Japan (BoJ) will announce interest rate decision on Tuesday. FOMC will announce interest rate decision on Wednesday. Bank of England (BoE) will announce interest rate decision on Thursday.
- US data:
Key economic dockets will be released this week; Personal consumer/spending data on Monday, ISM manufacturing PMI on Tuesday, ADP employment on Wednesday, and non-farm payroll data on Friday.
- China data:
PMI reports are due this week and they would be most closely watched releases from Asia as they are vital for the assessment of the strength of the US economy.
In addition to the above, unscheduled Brexit commentaries would keep weighing on the market.
