A new, 108-second trailer for the upcoming Season 7 of “Game Of Thrones” has been released. The latest trailer for the multi-awarded HBO fantasy series revealed some exciting details about what coming to the Seven Kingdoms, Gizmodo said.
The first part saw a dire conversation between Cersei (Lena Headey) and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) talking about their enemies closing in on them, presumably for the Iron Throne.
“Enemies to the east. Enemies to the west. Enemies to the south. Enemies to the north. Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it. We're the last Lannisters. The last ones who count,” she confided to her brother.
The video quickly pans to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), who is on a mission to claim her right for the Iron Throne, RollingStone said.
But a chilling reminder that the seventh season will have something bigger coming came from Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) and Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen). Earlier, the release of a new key art for the show indicated Westeros’ greatest threat is coming: the White Walkers. The key art was a profile photo of the Night King, who had the power to raise the dead.
Towards the end of the video, Littlefinger is seen telling Sansa (Sophie Turner), "Your father and brothers are gone yet here you stand. The last best hope against the coming storm."
"If we don't put aside our enmities and band together we will die, and then it doesn't matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne," Ser Davos said gravely.
“Game Of Thrones” returns to HBO on July 16.
