This summer, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo elevates the hotel experience to an exciting new level with its first-ever collaboration with the sleep game app, Pokémon Sleep, celebrating its first anniversary in July 2024. From July 1 to August 31, guests can immerse themselves in the whimsical world of Pokémon through specially themed rooms and exclusive dining experiences.
Sleeping with Pokémon
In an innovative blend of luxury and fantasy, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo offers the Pokémon Sleep Suite Room Stay, transforming the hotel's chairman suite into a Greengrass Isle campsite straight from the game, according to PR Times. Decorated with game artwork and home to a collection of sleeping Pokémon plushies—including a nearly life-sized Snorlax—guests are in for a night of magical dreams.
In addition to the impressive plush collection, guests will receive a wellness bag filled with Pokémon-themed goodies to take home.
Culinary Delights in a Pokémon World
Understanding that a full belly equals a restful sleep, guests can delight in a specially prepared 450-gram Snorlax cheeseburger for dinner, accompanied by the Snoozy Tomato Salad and Lucky Chant Apple Pie from Pokémon Sleep's culinary world. Morning welcomes a breakfast of Pokémon pancakes, ensuring a sweet start to the day.
More than Just a Stay
SoraNews 24 pointed out that the Grand Hyatt Tokyo doesn't stop at the suite. Ten Pokémon Sleep King and twin-bed rooms are also available, featuring special Snorlax blankets and smaller plushies. These rooms offer a wellness bag and a Pokémon pancake breakfast at the hotel's French Kitchen buffet.
For those feeling adventurous, the Oak Door Steakhouse will serve a limited number of Snorlax and Pikachu burgers daily, promising a treat for both eyes and palate.
A Heart for Well-being
This collaboration stems from a mutual desire to promote well-being. A recent survey by the Pokémon Company highlighted the positive impact of Pokémon Sleep on users' sleep duration.
Grand Hyatt Tokyo aims to rekindle interest in healthy sleep patterns through this unique integration of rest and play. Beyond a simple stay, this collaboration invites guests to a rejuvenating, Pokémon-filled dreamland, marrying the comfort of luxury accommodation with the joys of childhood fantasy.
