‘Homeland’ season 6’s episode 7, titled “Imminent Risk,” will follow Carrie as she attempts to deal with Children Services as they threaten to take her daughter Franny away. Meanwhile, Quinn slowly comes to accept his complicated situation.
The brief synopsis for episode 7 posted on TV Guide reads, “Carrie (Claire Danes) gets bad news; Saul (Mandy Patinkin) makes a plan; Quinn (Rupert Friend) acknowledges his situation.”
Things are bound to get more complicated for Carrie as her troubled work life has began affecting her home life. In the sneak preview for “Imminent Risk,” Carrie receives an urgent phone call from Franny’s school. It seems that Children Services is threatening to take her daughter away from her as they believe that Franny’s life is in danger since Carrie was an unfit mother.
Carrie will need to fight in court to keep her daughter. It will be interesting how she handles this stressful situation while she tries to deal with her case with Sekou (J. Mallory McCree), who the government believes was responsible for planting the bomb at the CIA office. Sekous was also accused of the murder of Special Agent Conlin (Dominic Fumusa).
The main protagonist suspects that the two incidents are connected and that Sekou is innocent. Carrie is adamant on revealing the real culprit behind the attacks.
Meanwhile, Quinn will need to accept his complicated situation and will be under the protection of German intelligence office Astrid (Nina Hoss). Astrid who helped him escape from containment at Bellevue in the previous episode’s thrilling final moments, according to Refinery 29.
It remains to be seen if Quinn’s former loves is indeed one to be trusted. In the promo, Quinn tells Astrid that the Jihadists who tortured him in Berlin are pursuing him in the United States.
‘Homeland’ season 6’s episode 7, titled “Imminent Risk,” is scheduled to air on Showtime on March 5, 2017. It was directed by Tucker Gates. It will followed by episode 8, titled "Alt.Truth," directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and scheduled to be released on March 12.
