KFC introduced its giant chicken sandwich, and it was described as the fast-food chain's biggest sandwich yet, However, it is a bit different than the normal sandwich because it is "stuffed."
The restaurant chain announced the arrival of its Chicken Sandwich Snuggler, and it was clarified that it is not something that can be eaten as it is actually a larger-than-life fluffy pillow! KFC said the new item is available until supplies last and it can be purchased at the exclusive outlet - PillowPets.com.
Fans can buy the new KFC Chicken Sandwich Snuggler for $99.99. The giant plushie pillow reportedly measures almost 3 feet wide and it has been released just in time for Valentine's Day, a period when people most especially like to hug or cozy up with someone.
Food Network noted that the new KFC item really looks like a huge version of the chain's Chicken Sandwich. The plushie features a perfect image of the double-breaded, crispy chicken breast filet that is sandwiched in a brioche bun. The appearance of the pillow is complete with mayo and pickle slices.
Indeed, the new KFC Chicken Sandwich Snuggler is a delicious twist to the brand's chicken sandwich. It is also perfect as a gift and the receiver will surely always crave for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
As mentioned in QSR Magazine, KFC first launched its Chicken Sandwich in January of last year. The new food item instantly became a hit with customers and now it is a permanent part of the chain's menu list. The popular sandwich is apparently, the main inspiration for the huggable pillow that was made in partnership with Pillow Pets, a company known for its creative and functional stuffed plushies.
"We set a new standard for modern comfort food with the introduction of our KFC Chicken Sandwich last year," KFC US' chief marketing officer, Nick Chavez, said in a press release with regards to the launch of its giant pillow. "Now fans can snuggle up with the sandwich they love the most thanks to our KFC Chicken Sandwich Snuggler!"
