Keanu Reeves has been rumored to be getting married soon. He will be proposing to his girlfriend Alexandra Grant, then the wedding will follow not long after that.
Wedding bells for Keanu and Alexandra?
The rumor started after Keanu Reeves finished filming the fourth movie sequel of “The Matrix” in Germany. It was stated that Alexandria Grant stayed with the 56-year-old actor in the last few months of the movie’s production in Berlin.
Now, the National Enquirer reported that the two are getting married. The time they had spent in Germany allegedly brought the couple closer together and it was at this time when the thoughts of marriage came up.
“They may even get hitched in Germany,” the insider supposedly told the tabloid. “They love it there and have been living in this kind of bubble for weeks while he shoots his movie.”
The source went on to say that Keanu Reeves was already telling his friends about his plans. He would like to propose this coming holiday season but exactly when was not mentioned.
“Keanu’s telling friends he’s ready to propose and may do it over the holidays,” the source further said. “He considered Alexandra his soulmate.”
Keanu and his girlfriend also bonded during the quarantine. They were said to have stayed in Europe together and they allegedly found out how compatible they are.
The experience made their relationship stronger and they are both happy that they share many beliefs in life. The couple’s friends are happy for them and reportedly eagerly waiting for their wedding announcement.
The truth about Keanu’s proposal and wedding
This is actually not the first time that Keanu Reeves was reported to be marrying Alexandra Grant. In fact, not long after they publicly admitted their dating status by appearing together on the red carpet last year, the rumors of their wedding have been cropping up constantly. They were even said to be planning a secret wedding in Malibu which turned out to be false.
Just like past rumors, this latest proposal and wedding report is also not true. This was confirmed by Keanu Reeves’ rep after Gossip Cop contacted them for clarifications and comments. The actor’s side clearly denied that he is tying the knot soon.
