The robbery ordeal in Paris appeared to still traumatize Kim Kardashian. This was evident in a new promo for her and her family’s reality TV show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which is expected to premiere next Sunday, March 19 on E!.
The Sun said the ordeal happened in her plush Rue Tronchet apartment in Paris in October 2016, when thieves barged in, “tied her up and held her at gunpoint” as they robbed over GBP9 million worth of jewelry, including a GBP5million jewellery box and one ring worth GBP3.5million. Her 20-carat second engagement ring given to her by husband Kanye West was also reportedly stolen. Although her kids Saint and North were not in the apartment during the robbery, the 35-year-old reality star found herself awaken from her nap, tied and held at gunpoint by two men, and locked in her bathroom as thieves ransacked her hotel room. After being rescued by French police, she quickly left Paris on a private jet and kept a low profile for some months, which was new to the social media star.

Explains to sisters Kourtney and Khloe, a visibly upset Kim said she had to make crucial decisions in order to stay alive during the ordeal, the Los Angeles Times reported. It will mark her first public discussion about the robbery.
She said, "I was like, I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision ... am I going to run down the stairs, and either be shot in the back -- like, it makes me so upset to think about it."
"But they're either going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don't, if the elevator does not open in time or the stairs are locked ... there's no way out," Kim added, nearly breaking into tears.
Although she wasn’t physically harmed in the robbery, she told her sisters in the clip that at that time, there was "no way out" of the situation, Fox News said.
