SAN DIEGO, April 20, 2016 -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Modular Systems Division (MSD) has received a contract award of approximately $5.0 million for specialized Hardened Tactical Facilities to be deployed at an international location. MSD is a premier provider of hardened facilities for the protection of the warfighter and personnel deployed in tactical theaters of operation and other locations. MSD is an industry leader of specialty modular and hardened systems, facilities and products which support National Security related and other programs, including unmanned aircraft, high power directed energy systems, electromagnetic railgun, missile and radar systems, C4ISR, CBRNE and combat platforms. Kratos MSD will produce the hardened tactical facilities under this contract at a secure manufacturing facility. Due to customer related and other considerations, no additional information will be provided related to this contract award.
