The "BTS Meal" became McDonald's first celebrity collaboration to go on sale globally, now being offered in South Korea, the US, Malaysia, Austria, and eight other countries.
It will be available in almost 50 countries by next month.
The celebrity collaboration with K-pop supergroup BTS includes a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, Coke, and South Korean-inspired sweet chili and Cajun flavors dipping sauces.
While there were no new food items for the meal, the idea was to feature the band's logo and symbolic color purple in the paper bag, the McNuggets case, and the cup.
McDonald's also said it is incorporating "digital surprises" featuring BTS in its app for US customers.
A new McDonald's TV commercial featuring the band's latest hit, "Butter," also debuted in the US Wednesday night.
