Michelle Obama and Melania Trump’s coronavirus messages were compared after the ex-FLOTUS shared tips on how communities can help each other amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Last week, the first lady starred in two public service announcements about the deadly coronavirus. Melania has also been tweeting tips on how kids can utilize their time while they are being homeschooled.
“While changes need to be made now, this is not how we will live forever. Our children will return to school, people will return to work, we will gather at the places of worship, concerts and sporting events again,” she said in one of the PSAs.
Michelle, on the other hand, wrote a touching message telling parents all over the world that they are not alone. Since the sudden changes are new to everyone, the ex-FLOTUS said that having a strong support system is important.
Barack’s wife also said that every person can do their part in helping those who are most vulnerable and affected by the deadly virus.
“Whatever you’re going through right now, I want you to know you aren’t alone. Even as we practice social distancing, this new normal is something we are figuring out together,” she said.
Some netizens couldn’t help but compare the coronavirus messages of Michelle and Melania.
“My brain simply refuses to accept this happened. Melania continues to display the vast, vast difference between herself and Michelle Obama. The same way Donald does with Barack nearly every day,” Twitter user @40K_Grey said.
“Does that mean Michelle Obama was actually tested and Melania just plagiarized the results?” Twitter user @uniquetoybox said.
“Where is Melania? Aren’t first ladies supposed to comfort us in times like this?” Twitter user @Angelina12127 said.
“She does not get near enough credit for her love of America. Michelle only sort of liked the country after having her fraud husband elected. Melania best FLOTUS ever,” Twitter user @nomoretweedles said.
“It just seemed like Michelle didn’t even try sometimes and Melania gets only negative reviews. And I’m not the editor who chose to say Michelle’s hideous dress was beautiful,” Twitter user @wagygirl said.
