So far, there have been a lot of both inspiring and depressing events in “My Hero Academia,” with Midoriya getting his Quirk to All Might losing his being among the top examples. However, “My Hero Academia” Season 4 is set to crank up the sadness factor to eleven with fighting villains costing the heroes something dear. In fact, the upcoming season promises some of the most relevant character developments yet.
Death in the anime is not exactly something that is placed front and center for viewers to see. There have been some themes of passing, but they were mostly on an exposition basis. “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will change that by featuring the show’s first major death. It will be of a character who is relevant to Midoriya, Mirio, and All Might himself.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will also see some broken dreams and truly heartbreaking stories of abuse. This is a departure from the anime’s more lighthearted takes on the superhero genre in previous seasons. This will then lead to some truly significant character developments, especially when it comes to the Midoriya and his relationship with his Quirk.
Suffice it to say, 2019 will be a great year for the property and not just because “My Hero Academia” Season 4 is coming. There are some excellent developments in terms of the property’ film ties, with stage plays and live-action movies being discussed. The manga is also seeing some spectacular narrative routes that will play a significant role in the upcoming seasons of the anime.
As for when fans will be able to watch the premiere of “My Hero Academia” Season 4, October 2019 should be a period worth looking forward to. Viewers should brace themselves though since there will be some major drama coming their way.
