Fresh leaks featuring photos and specifications of the Nintendo Switch 2 have emerged, showcasing a larger console design with a bigger screen, magnetic side rails for Joy-Con controllers, and significant upgrades like 256GB of storage and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The information aligns with previous rumors, heightening excitement for Nintendo's next-gen console.
Nintendo Switch 2 Photos Leak Online
According to a post on the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit, the files were uploaded to an unidentified Discord server by a Chinese user who had obtained them from a person who was under non-disclosure agreements (NDA), possibly a manufacturing worker.
Pictures taken by WCCFTECH appear to corroborate the reports about the console's design, which state that it is larger than its predecessor has a larger screen, and incorporates magnetic side rails for the new Joy-Con controllers.
Along with the purported system images, the specifications for the Nintendo Switch 2 were released. These specs corroborate several of the rumors that have been circulating for a while, like the 256 GB of flash memory and 12 GB of LPDDR5X @7500 MT/s RAM.
No SoC Information Available Yet
However, if all of these specifications are accurate, we will definitely be hearing more about the capabilities of the system in the near future. Unfortunately, there is currently no information that can be derived from the name of the SoC model.
With the graphics and specs coming from an unnamed source, we must approach everything with a healthy dose of skepticism. What's more, it appears to align somewhat too well with most of the Nintendo Switch 2 leaks that have occurred in the past several months.
It will not be too much longer before we get a glimpse of what Nintendo has been working on for its next-generation system, which is a relief because the console is likely going to be announced very soon.
