The coronavirus continues to wreak havoc within China and other countries ever since the outbreak a few months back. One religious leader claims that the Americans are saved from the virus because of President Donald Trump’s pro-life in the womb opinion.
Reported by Politicalflare, conservative Pastor Hank Kunneman shared in his message during a service that Americans have nothing to fear regarding getting the coronavirus because of the Trump administration. Kunneman said, “For I have spoken to you before and I will speak to you again. I have extended and opened a window of mercy to this nation at this time. Therefore the virus that they speak of, the bright prognostication, the diagnosis, the fear, my mercy is the quarantine that shall be greater than that spoken to you United States. And because of the administration that stands in this land who honor me, who honor the covenants of the forefathers and of the Constitution. And because they have aligned themselves with Israel and because they have sided on the right side of life - life in the womb, life given outside the womb - there I give life to this nation and this mercy.”
Kunneman even added that the virus is the spirit of God and that they have nothing to fear.
Despite the Pastor’s message regarding his interpretation of the global pandemic, there are 15 cases of coronavirus in the United States at this time. To add to that, one American national was among the fatalities in China.
Meanwhile, The Guardian reports that the World Health Organization has stated that the coronavirus only causes a mild disease in four out of five people who get infected by the virus. This follows the skyrocketing number of cases of people who have suffered from the disease in both China and other affected countries, killing an astounding 1,800 people in China, where the disease originated.
WHO director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus explained that the new coronavirus, also known as Covid-19, is not as deadly as previous pandemics like SARS and MERS. They also explained that health officials are gaining more understanding of the disease and how it would affect people. Revealing the statistics, they found that over 80 percent of the patients will recover, while 14 percent have a severe condition such as pneumonia, five percent of the patients experience septic shock and organ failure, and only two percent are fatal.
