PlayStation 5 is one of the things that gamers are anticipating to arrive. This console that is expected to be the best gaming device to come out so far has been on the news since last year so as its release date gets closer, the excitement over it also increases.
In the last update, everyone can see that PlayStation 5 will be out soon. This is because Sony just released the PlayStation 5’s TV ad. This was said to be the very first for the console and apparently the tech company did this to inform more people about its newest gaming console.
The TV ad campaign that highlights good points of PS5
To start off its marketing scheme, Sony uploaded the ad titled “Play has no Limits” on YouTube just a little over a week ago. As of today, it has more than 11 million views already and this surely helped with the campaign.
USA Today reported that over 70 artists were assigned to work on this ad and all of them are visual effects specialists. This project was created by Clarissa Dale and John Trainer-Tobin. The release of the video is just in time for PlayStation 5’s target release date of November.
“Welcome to a world where you can feel more,” the voiceover said in the ad. “A world where you can see through sounds..a world where you can feel force at your fingertips. Welcome to a new world of immersion.”
As stated, Sony is promising that PlayStation 5 will offer a different kind of gaming experience. The console will present a more immersive gameplay where players will “feel” the game down to their bones.
Sony’s registration for pre-orders
In any case, Sony already opened its doors for pre-orders. However, they have a strict rule as this will be an “invite-only” registration for preorders of PlayStation 5. This is because the number of consoles is very limited.
Those who will sign up on PlayStation’s registration page, they will receive an email from Sony if they were selected for pre-order reservations. If not, no email will be sent to them. Also, there is no guarantee that all registrants can already reserve their units because as posted on the FAQ page, if they may still receive a “sold out” notice despite the pre-order for PlayStation 5.
