Baskin-Robbins Japan Unveils New Pokémon-Themed Ice Cream Flavors, Featuring Pikachu and Fuecoco Fruit Ice
In Japan, it has become a summertime tradition for Pokémon-themed ice cream flavors and other treats to appear at Baskin-Robbins. Many eagerly anticipate indulging in these frozen delights with a heat wave hitting the country. The wait is almost over, as Baskin-Robbins Japan has announced the details of this year’s Pokémon collaboration, starting in just a few days.
Among the chain’s 31 flavors, the brand-new Pikachu and Fuecoco Fruit Ice stand out, featuring the vibrant colors of the Electric-type mascot and the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet starter. This treat is a symphony of seven different fruit flavors, with two types of sorbet swirled together. One sorbet combines golden kiwi, passionfruit, and pineapple pieces, while the other blends blood orange and pink grapefruit with bits of strawberry. A ribbon of mango ice cream completes this luxurious mix of sweet and tart flavors, promising to be extra refreshing on a hot afternoon.
Baskin-Robbins Japan Adds Pikachu Pineapple Crush Soda and Pokémon Double Cups to Summer Lineup
Additionally, Baskin-Robbins Japan is introducing a new addition to its Crush Soda line, the Pikachu Pineapple and Apple flavor. This blended ice beverage can be customized with a scoop of ice cream of your choice, though doubling up with a scoop of Pikachu and Fuecoco Fruit Ice seems the most fitting.
The Pokémon Double Cup is a delightful option for those preferring preexisting flavors. This offering includes two scoops of ice cream in a special cup decorated with one of three patterns: Pikachu with Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Fidough, or Quaxly and Pawmi. Each order includes a special Pikachu or Poké Ball spoon and a randomly selected Pokémon sticker.
The Pokémon version of the Baskin-Robbins Fresh Pack is available in larger quantities. This pack features exceptional illustrations on the tub, individual-serving cups, an ice cream scoop with Pikachu and Fuecoco, and a cute bag to carry it all home. The Pokémon Special Set, which includes a reusable insulated bag that can be taken two different ways, is ideal for those planning ahead. This set comes with nine scoops of ice cream and nine Pokémon spoons.
According to information shared with SoraNews24, the Pikachu and Fuecoco Fruit Ice is priced at 420 yen (US$2.65) for a regular-size scoop, while the Pikachu pineapple and apple dessert drink is 650 yen. The Fresh Pack, allowing a selection of six scoops among up to three flavors, is 2,580 yen. The Double Cups and Special Set prices vary by size, with the small-scoop Double Cup at 510 yen and the regular-scoop one at 760 yen. The small-scoop Special Set is 3,200 yen, and the regular-scoop one is 4,180 yen.
This lineup will be available at Baskin-Robbins, Japan, from August 1 until September 4 or while supplies last. Considering Japan’s love for ice cream and Pokémon, it is advisable to visit early in August.
