“Rick & Morty” Season 4 is still a long way off from airing, but there are still plenty of details for the fans to start obsessing over. For example, a new promo clip for the upcoming season was just released, which re-imagines the characters of the adult-themed cartoon in the 90s X-Men art style. There is also the matter of each season potentially numbering about 10 episodes each.
In a recent tweet, the official Twitter account of Rick and Morty set the internet on fire with a teaser that is only going to make fans more agitated over the lack of more news about the show. The Tweet only came with the hashtag #RickandMorty and a 15-second clip that is quite reminiscent of the old X-Men cartoon. No details yet on what this means for “Rick & Morty” Season 4.

Then again, the show is known for making random pop culture references in both its main episodes and its promo campaigns. So this new clip could be nothing more than the creators touching on the nostalgia bones of some of its fans before “Rick & Morty” Season 4 comes out. For those having trouble understanding the references in the clip, Inverse neatly explains the details.
Speaking of “Rick & Morty” Season 4, the season is likely to feature 10 episodes just as season 2 and 3 did, OtakuArt notes. This makes sense since Adult Swim did request 70 more episodes of the show, which should boil down to 10 episodes per season over seven seasons. This could always change, but this is likely the setup, for now.
As for when “Rick & Morty” Season 4 will air, an official premiere date has not been set. It has been hinted that it could be as soon as late 2019, which would be the best case scenario, at this point.
