“Rick and Morty” season 4 episode 6 has yet to arrive, and fans are getting frustrated with all the waiting. This is because the show’s creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, made a promise that they will not let the viewers wait anymore.
They said this before the fourth season premiered, and now, just after five episodes, they are making fans wait again. Most of the shows have already returned after the midseason and holiday break but not “Rick and Morty” season 4 episode 6.
Adult Swim’s response to calls for release of part 2
The first half of “Rick and Morty” season 4 ended with the episode called “Rattlestar Ricklactica.” It was the episode where Morty was bitten by a space snake, and he killed it by opening its spacesuit. He later realized that because the snake died, he could be responsible for their extinction, so he felt so guilty.
Back on earth, he devised a plan to replace the snake with a new one, and he launched it to space. This was where the first part concluded, and fans are already demanding “Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 6.
With the growing call for Adult Swim to release part 2 now, the studio was forced to release a statement. Actually, it was not a statement but sort of a reply to appease the fans. On Feb. 2, Adult Swim posted a clip on Twitter, and fans can read the word “Patience” in it. Obviously, the studio is asking everyone to wait a bit more for the arrival of “Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 6.
The Super Bowl ad
While the viewers are waiting for “Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 6, they published an ad instead. It features the titular characters, so, at first glance, it could be mistaken as a teaser.
Express reported that rather than become happy, the ad just made fans even more disappointed and angry because they have the time to produce the Super Bowl advertisement when what they wanted is “Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 6. They seem to be saying that the producers could have just spent his time working on the episodes instead of the ad that they don’t like.
When is it coming?
Adult Swim previously tweeted that “Rick and Morty” season 4 episode 6 is coming in 2020, without mentioning a month and day, but as per The Cinemaholic, it will drop in April. Fans should stay tuned for the exact release date of the new chapters.
