‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 6, titled “Fracture,” will follow Harlee and Wozniak as they work together to investigate the murder of Caroline, James’ ex-fiancee. This will put Harlee and James at a tough position.
The synopsis for episode 6 posted on TV Guide reads, “Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) and Wozniak (Ray Liotta) investigate Caroline's (Mimi Michaels) murder, putting Harlee and Nava's (Gino Anthony Pesi) relationship in an awkward place;
Wozniak focuses on determining which member of his crew is informing to Verco (Dov Davidoff); and Loman (Dayo Okeniyi) uncovers a deep secret.”
The upcoming episode will focus on Harlee’s attempts at investigating Caroline’s murder from the previous episode together with Wozniak. However, this will strain Harlee and James’ covert relationship even further since Harlee will not be able to reveal her real connection to the crime, according to Cartermatt.
In the previous episode, titled "Sweet Caroline," the mob managed to frame Harlee for the murder of Assistant District Attorney James Nava’s former fiancée Caroline. According to the recap posted on Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Bianchi realized that he could take revenge on Harlee through James. Harlee was forced to confess to Wozniak after everything.
James was initially suspected for Caroline’s murder. This forced Tess (Drea de Matteo), who was the lead investigator on the case, to go after him. Tess found out that Caroline wanted to get back with James and had gone to see him hours prior to getting killed. Meanwhile, Harlee’s attempts at covering up the mob connection only got her into bigger trouble.
Meanwhile, Wozniak will be doubling his efforts in trying to uncover which member of his crew has been informing to Verco.
‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 6, titled “Fracture,” is scheduled to air on NBC on April 9, 2017. It will be followed by episode 7, titled "A House Divided," scheduled to be released on April 16.
