The Wendy's Company selected the PAR Punchh customer loyalty platform to upgrade its loyalty program for better customer engagement. The fast-food chain will apply next-generation technology to offer the best solutions to its customers.
In particular, Wendy's will utilize PAR Punchh's artificial intelligence-powered (AI) platform and the Punchh Enterprise Support to improve Wendy's Rewards, which is available in the restaurant's almost 6,500 stores in Canada and the United States. The loyalty and engagement platform's parent company, PAR Technology Corp., announced the partnership with The Wendy's Company on Thursday, March 28.
Aim of Integrating AI-Driven Solutions to Rewards Program
According to The Central New York Business Platform, Wendy's wants to apply the latest technology to its loyalty program through PAR Punchh's services and solutions. The aim is to improve it with exclusive offers, special promotions, and gamified experiences that use game mechanics to increase customer engagement, business growth, and customer retention.
Simply put, the chain's goal for using PAR Punchh's AI platform is to make the loyalty experience more entertaining and rewarding to all customers. If customers are happy, the Wendy's Rewards program can ultimately lead to long-term business success.
Digitizing Wendy's Ordering System
Aside from enhancing Wendy's loyalty platform, PAR Punchh's technology will also improve the restaurant's app and online ordering system. Integrating the open architecture of PAR Technology's AI-driven solution to the fast-food's delivery system will ensure smoother and faster transactions. Moreover, through cooperation with loyalty strategists at PAR Punchh, Wendy's will develop its comprehensive strategy to further invigorate the guest experience.
"Loyalty is not a feature, it is an outcome – driving more customer lifetime value," Savneet Singh, PAR Technology's chief executive officer, said in a press release. "We believe that coupling our technology with our skilled team of loyalty strategists not only gives brands the tools to build guest loyalty but also puts us in the driver's seat with them to deliver results."
The CEO added, "The partnership we are building with Wendy's is going to help cultivate their ability to deepen relationships with their fans and stand out. Blending their iconic brand offerings with cutting-edge solutions is a winning combo!"
