Katherine Tonkiss is a Lecturer in Sociology and Policy at Aston University, with research and teaching interests in migration rights, (post)nationalism and belonging. Her book, Migration and Identity in a Post-National World, was published in 2013. She is currently leading a British Academy-funded project examining migration rights activism in the UK.
