Associate Professor of Health, Swansea University
Dr Louise Condon’s background is in nursing, midwifery and health visiting, both in research and practice. I hold a PhD and MSc (Child Welfare) from the School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol. My experience as practitioner and public health manager informs my research into child health and health inequalities. In collaboration with other practitioners and academics I have been awarded research grants totaling over £500,000. I have published over 20 papers in prestigious peer reviewed journals, am a member of the Editorial Board for Health Expectations, and review regularly for health journals and the NIHR. In 2015 I became a fellow of the Institute of Health Visiting. I very much enjoy teaching and developing students as future researchers.
