BTS Jimin has been declared as King Choice’s “King of Pop” for two straight years. His win was based on the poll started by the said Kpop voting website, and the voting was conducted until Oct. 31.
It was said that the BTS member won against the other candidates with a wide margin. This only proved that he is unbeatable as the poll always shows the same result of a wide gap with the other names since 2019.
Jimin’s clean win in 2020
As per Allkpop, BTS Jimin was able to top the poll after receiving great support from his fans who voted so he can retain the “King of Kpop” title this year. It was stated that he won after securing a total of 12,568,794 votes in the poll that started on Oct. 16 and concluded on the 31st. Last year, he won with just 1,275,292 votes.
Jimin is really popular as he also topped the idols’ list with the best brand reputation for months this year. He is well-known for his dance and singing skills in his BTS team. Not to mention the fact that he has the looks that many girls like.
The concept photo for “BE”
In any case, BTS is set to release their newest album called “BE” this Nov. 20. As part of the promotions prior to its launch, Big Hit Entertainment has been posting the concept photos of each member.
BTS Jimin’s concept photo was dropped on the midnight of Nov. 3, and his name immediately climbed the search trends worldwide. In fact, he was at no. 1 on Twitter as soon as his photo and audio clip have been uploaded online. In the audio, BTS Jimin explained his concept of being in a room filled with flowers.
His picture looks simple, but after his intro and explanation, fans are able to understand the deeper meaning of his photo. Needless to say, fans were truly impressed. Jimin’s concept photo was the second to arrive, and BTS V was the first member to have his picture released to the public.
BTS V’s photos were dropped on Nov. 2, so it seems that Big Hit Entertainment will continue to release these teasers every day until all the pictures of the seven members are complete. Meanwhile, Jimin and the rest of the BTS are also preparing for their upcoming performance a the 2020 American Music Awards that will take place on Nov. 22.
