Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are still going strong despite them being busy with their respective careers. And similar to other celebrity couples, the pair isn’t immune to the rumors churned out by gossip publications.
For instance, Keith Urban supposedly wanted to expand his career into the movie industry last year and Nicole Kidman was going to help him achieve it. Woman’s Day (via Gossip Cop) previously claimed that the country singer could’ve easily landed major roles in several MCU films including Thor, Iron Man, and Wolverine.
The story proved to be nothing more than a false narrative as Keith Urban still hasn’t transitioned his career into Hollywood. What’s true at the moment is that “The Fighter” singer is still busy with his “Graffiti U World” tour that is slated to end in March. Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman also got her hands full at the moment as she’s busy promoting her “Destroyer” movie.
The film focuses on LAPD detective Erin Bell (Nicole Kidman) and her desire to take down members of a violent gang who she had a history with. The role is touted to be Kidman’s best yet although she didn’t receive any accolades when 2018 ended. Still, Keith Urban’s wife is grateful for having played the character and doesn’t feel snubbed regardless of what other publications were saying.
Nicole Kidman added that she’s quite contended with other women being acknowledged and is elated that other actresses are being recognized for their talents. When asked about who she was rooting among those who have been nominated, the “Moulin Rouge” star said she’s supporting all of them. As for her relationship with Keith Urban, the actress is still as in love with the country singer as ever.
When asked why her husband wasn’t with her in her latest public appearance, she said that Keith Urban was still busy touring in Brisbane, SMH reported. In lieu of the singer, Nicole Kidman brought her 21-year-old niece as her company and was all smiles during the premiere.
