“Lucifer” Season 4 is highly anticipated by the series’ following as Chloe (Lauren German) now know the true form of her partner (Tom Ellis). Executive producer Ildy Modrovich said that the detective will not easily take the information well at first, but will eventually process it throughout the installment.
Adding to Chloe’s complicated life is the arrival of Eve (Inbar Lavi). While showrunners are keeping everything under wraps, Netflix did hint at Eve’s motives in “Lucifer” Season 4, Express reported.
“After an eternity with Adam, she’s grown restless in her marriage and longs for a less predictable time when things were exciting. Naughty. Dangerous. She misses her hot and heavy first love… the charming rogue who tempted her so many years ago. That’s right, the devil himself - Lucifer.” As such, Eve will be acting as the main antagonist of “Lucifer” Season 4 and will use her female charm to achieve whatever it is she’s set out to do.
On the writing side of things, showrunners Modrovich and Joe Henderson said that they’re going to be changing the way they handle cliffhangers for the show, CarterMatt reported. This is just one of the many alterations that the fantasy police procedural will go through. Gore, nudity, episode count, and episode length are all going to change for the series. While this is worrying some of its fans, others are simply ecstatic that they’re getting “Lucifer” Season 4.
It can be recalled that the series was originally canceled by FOX. But due to the social media campaign launched by its fan base, Netflix decided to give the drama a new home. The streaming giant ordered 10 episodes for “Lucifer” Season 4, although its run time has been increased to around 40 minutes.
Regarding the release date of the fourth installment, Netflix hasn’t announced anything yet. However, show star Ella Lopez did hint on Twitter that “Lucifer” Season 4 will drop sometime between April or May.
