Meghan Markle plans to write a tell-all book about her time in the Royal Family, but it could leave her coming across as “bitter” if she paints Kate Middleton in bad light, royal expert Phil Dampier claimed.
Royal Family Reportedly ‘Bracing Themselves’ From Meghan Markle’s Impending Memoir
In an interview with The Sun, the royal author suggested that Meghan is likely to voice her opinion on the never-ending comparisons between her and Kate. “She would give her side of what really happened between her and Kate in the run up to the wedding, when each allegedly made the other cry. Everyone will be fascinated to hear Meghan’s take on her relationship with Kate, whether she was hostile or welcomed her from the start.” Phil told the publication.
He added that the members of the royal family are primarily concerned with the nature of Meghan Markele’s rumored memoir. Most of them are said to be bracing for more controversy – exactly what happened when Prince Harry released his book called “Spare” in January.
To recall, royal expert Tom Bower previously claimed that a book would be a big seller for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. As a matter of fact, it was claimed that the Duke of Sussex’s autobiography has reportedly pulled in a staggering $20 million advance.
Meghan and Prince Harry are expected to rake in even more cash should news of the “Suits” alum’s impending memoir is proven true. The mom of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet has yet to comment on these speculations.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Unlikely To Spend Christmas With Royal Family
Meanwhile, royal expert Dr. Tessa Dunlop claimed that Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet may not join the traditional royal family Christma at Sandringham again this year. Most, if not all, followers of the royal pair can recall that the Sussexes have not spent the special day with the royal family since they stepped back in 2020.
“Just as Harry was a no-show at Balmoral this summer, it is unlikely that he’ll grace Sandringham with his presence,” Tessa said to The Mirror. “Far from buying a penthouse near London, it doesn’t even look like King Charles will get a Christmas cuddle [with Archie and Lili],” she continued, alluding to speculations that Prince Harry is looking to buy property in the U.K. following his and Meghan Markle’s eviction from Frogmore Cottage earlier this year.
Tessa furthered that if Prince Harry does buy a home in his native U.K., he will do so at his own expense rather than rely on King Charles. “The Sussexes are going to house hunt in and around London, at least so goes the rumor. Despite his father owning more homes than you or I have hot dinners—try counting them—by all accounts Harry’s mooted return to the U.K. will not see him lean on his father’s estate. Rather, the pair will branch out and buy somewhere of their own, in a mission driven by homesick Harry,” she said.
“Just as Camilla was the evil adulterer until we discovered a gentle, and even pretty, Queen, Harry is being curated as the little lost boy, a square peg in an American hole who wants to come home,” Tessa added. “We Brits want to believe Harry can’t manage without us, that he misses the brother he has told us he was never close to, the father he is no longer speaking to, and the country he slammed,” she continued.
