Microsoft plans to release two Xbox gaming consoles: a high-end gaming console akin to the Xbox Series X and a portable handheld gaming device that can also dock, similar to the Nintendo Switch or the Steam Deck, according to MAGG from the XNC Podcast. Furthermore, he claims that Microsoft may release the two gaming consoles by the end of 2026.
Microsoft Could Launch New High-end, Handheld Xbox Gaming Consoles
Recently, there have been reports that Microsoft intends to bring several of the titles that are now exclusive to Xbox, such as “Gear of War,” “Hellblade 2,” and “Starfield,” to Sony PlayStation in the near future. These claims fueled speculation that Microsoft may abandon the console market shortly, as few people will buy an Xbox after the company delivers Xbox-exclusive games on other platforms. The language of a recent post on X/Twitter by Xbox's head, Phil Spencer, did not help the situation either.
However, based on the most recent MAGG news, Microsoft appears to have no plans to exit the console industry anytime soon. Recently, Jez Corden of Windows Central revealed that Microsoft had approved the creation of multiple Xbox goods, implying that Microsoft isn't exiting the console business anytime soon. However, we cannot tell anything for certain until the corporation makes an official announcement.
Microsoft Launches New UI For Copilot On Android, iOS, And Web
Meanwhile, Microsoft has announced that a new update to the Copilot app for Android and iOS will include a revised user interface for the chat pane, providing a better user experience. The redesigned interface is also available on Copilot for the web.
According to Microsoft, the redesign offers “a cleaner, sleeker look and feel for answers and a fun new carousel of suggested prompts to showcase the power of Copilot.” The company further adds that the new UI offers “a more streamlined look and feel designed to help you bring your ideas to life and more easily gain understanding about the world.”
Microsoft is debuting the new UI exactly one year after introducing AI-powered capabilities to Bing Chat. According to Microsoft, Copilot has completed over 5 billion discussions and created over 5 billion photos to date. Recently, the business released Copilot Pro, a premium version of Copilot that provides faster answers and higher-quality photos.
