“NCIS” season 16 episode 7 has been delayed because the show is taking a short break. This means that the police procedural drama is not airing on Tuesday, Nov. 6, as it should.
As per CarterMatt, the reason for the delay was due to the midterm elections in the U.S. CBS will have its own exclusive coverage of the event so some of its programs were taken off from the regular programming schedule to give way to the live reporting.
“NCIS” season 16 episode 7 is titled “A Thousand Words” and as per CBS’s press release, its synopsis reads: “A mural by a street artist and activist is stolen, and the NCIS investigation leads to a conspiracy regarding a Navy contractor and the safety of ocean mammals. Also, Bishop shares a special connection with the street artist.”
In this episode, Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), together with the NCIS team, will investigate the theft of a mural owned by a street artist and activist. However, they will discover more than the case of a stolen art piece and this will prompt them to dig deeper into the incident.
The initial theft investigation will reveal a conspiracy between a Navy contractor and the safety of mammals in the ocean. It appears that the contractor’s exploration of the ocean has greatly affected the aquatic animals and it placed their lives in danger, so the NCIS team has to move and put an end to the illegal works.
Moreover, as suggested in “NCIS” season 16 episode 7’s title and synopsis, the police may have found out about the conspiracy after they discovered some secret words, images or a cryptic message on the stolen mural. Thus, the case just got bigger for them to solve.
Meanwhile, ‘Friendly Fire’ will follow after the seventh episode. It will show Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Tim McGee (Sean Murray) flying to Afghanistan after a murder case has been linked to the killing of soldiers overseas. It will also highlight Kasie Hines’s (Diona Reasonover) first time working outside the lab as her forensic expertise is needed in the field.
“NCIS” season 16 episode 7 will air on Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
