Pringles is teaming up with Sanrio Ltd. to launch several useful items using the Hello Kitty character. It was said that this beloved cat is known to be one of the hardest working characters in Japan as it has already donned various outfits as part of collaborations with popular brands.
As per SoraNews24, this time, Hello Kitty is working with the world-famous potato chip snack brand, Pringles. In this team-up, the cat character is also bringing along Cinnamoroll, her cute puppy friend.
For the crossover, Hello Kitty will be dressing up as Mr. P, the name which the Pringles mascot is commonly known. And this is not all, to complete the look, the popular kitty cat will also be having Mr. P's mustache.
Hello Kitty will be representing the Pringles' original flavor which is packed in the red-colored canister, while Cinnamoroll will be in green which is the potato chip snack's sour cream & onion flavor. All of the items are divided into red and green, so fans to offer customers two color options.
For the White Day, the Pringles canisters are not filled with the usual potato chip snack, but they will be filled with candy instead. White Day is an annual event in Japan where people send gifts to people who gave them gifts on Valentine's Day.
For confectionery gifts, Hello Kitty and Pringles will offer a variety of items, and this will also feature Cinnamoroll. There will be a wide range of pouches filled with candy which cost 1,650 yen, drawstring bags with candies that cost 880 yen, handbags and tote bags with prices starting from 1,980 yen, pen stands (1,210 yen), and petit towels that can be purchased for 792 yen.
There are also miscellaneous gift items in the lineup and these are the plushies with a removable mustache, stickers (495 yen) and eco-bags with a tag price of 1,870 yen. The stickers come in packs of 50 and there are 10 designs to choose from. These are perfect for Hello Kitty collectors and can be used for decorating as well.
Finally, as per the press release, Sanrio has partnered with Pringles for White Day and Valentine's Day since the items are all ideal gifts for both occasions. The items are fun and definitely a sweet, delicious gift for the upcoming celebrations and spring season. All items are set to be released via Sanrio on Feb. 3.
