The ICEE Company, a leader and innovator in the frozen beverage industry, revealed its latest collaboration with Sony Pictures on Monday, March 4. The new partnership aligns with the upcoming release of the latter's "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" supernatural comedy film directed by Gil Kenan.
What to Expect from the Collab
According to Ghostbuster News, The ICEE Company will launch new beverage blends inspired by the "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" movie. The news of its team-up with Sony Pictures emerged earlier, and now the La Vergne, Tennessee-based beverage company is officially confirming the partnership.
The firm said under the agreement, it will introduce four new drinks alongside new items that feature the anticipated movie. Likewise, fans can buy Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire-themed branded cups that go well with the popular "Ghostbusters" Proton Pack. The ICEE Company said this is available in select locations.
Flavors and Availability
Meanwhile, the four new "Ghostbusters" ICEE flavors are Boo Raspberry, Red-1/Cherry-1, Slimer's Back, and the limited-edition Mischievous Mini-Pufts flavor. The last mentioned option offers the sweet flavor of marshmallows in a cup of frozen carbonated drink.
Fans may get the new ICEE drinks inspired by the latest "Ghostbusters" movie installment at retailers across the United States such as Target, Cinepolis, Dodge's Southern Style, Jacksons Food Stores, Showcase Cinemas, Santikos, Main Event, Hy-Vee, Safeway, Krystal, Flying J, Checkers and Rally's, Albertsons, Pilot, Tom Thumb, and Vons outlets.
"We are excited to bring the fun of Ghostbusters to life. Both ICEE and Ghostbusters are cross-generational brands that adults and kids can enjoy, and we are thrilled to help bring the latest installment to life with a range of limited-edition flavors inspired by the movie franchise," The ICEE Company's vice president of marketing, Kimmra Hingher, said in a press release. "While most of the flavors are a fun new take on some of our most beloved ICEE classics, Mischievous Mini-Puft is a completely new flavor profile for us, so fans of all ages can let the kid out with this playful addition."
"Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" is coming to cinemas in the U.S. on March 22.
