With the posters out, the release date announced and the synopsis officially released, fans won't have to wait long for a trailer of The Umbrella Academy season 2.
As Netflix usually drops trailers close to the release dates, fans can expect one perhaps by the end of June.
So, with the release of the season 2 synopsis, we finally find out where the Hargreeves have gone to when they disappeared in the season 1 finale.
Fans should rejoice to know that they are all alive and have escaped the apocalypse, thanks to the power of Five played by Aidan Gallagher.
But because Five's use of his powers was never refined and as he repeatedly warned his siblings that escaping the 2019 apocalypse using his powers was risky, this resulted to all of them being transported back to the 1960s.
And, not only did they arrived in the 1960s separately but also each of them got to 1960 in different points of a three-year period.
Five is the last to show up and has to round up the rest of his siblings as they would have to stop another apocalypse, one that was caused when they disrupted the timeline.
It would be interesting to see how Five will manage to gather his siblings as some of them have already gone on with their lives in that timeline. To say that it will not be easy for Five would be an understatement.
Thus, season 2 will be spent on Five gathering his siblings and convincing them to stop yet another apocalypse and getting back to the present time.
Needless to say, aside from Gallagher, also back to reprise their roles are Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Ellen Page, David Castañeda, Justin H. Min and Emmy Raver-Lampman.
There will also be new characters such as Sissy, the Texas housewife; Lila; and Raymond.
Watch out for The Umbrella Academy season 2 which Netflix will air on July 31.
