Lecturer, History, Flinders University
I am a cultural historian focusing on the transnational dimension of war and its aftermath in both the Australian and European contexts. My primary research interests focus on the First World War, war commemorations and Australian identity. My next book Our Corner Of The Somme: Australia at Villers-Bretonneux will be published by Cambridge University Press (under contract) by March 2019.
I publish in French and in English and I have taught at several universities, including Sciences Po in France, Yale in the United States and the University of Queensland in Australia. I currently work as a lecturer in History at Flinders University. I am also a Chercheur Associé at the Centre d'Histoire, Sciences Po, Paris.
