Apple has ambitious ambitions for 2024, with a variety of product updates in the pipeline. We expect the business to deliver new OLED iPad Pro versions in the coming months, coupled with a new M3 MacBook Air upgrade.
However, the iPhone 16 Pro will have significant enhancements both inside and out. A tipster has now revealed information on the iPhone 16 Pro's design, camera, and button layout.
iPhone 16 Pro to Feature Improved Camera Functionality Due to Bigger Chassis
The iPhone 15 Pro arrived with a titanium frame, and the business may continue with it for a few years before transitioning to a different material. According to Majin Bu on X, the iPhone 16 Pro could have a little larger display than the current model.
However, the insider claims that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will not vary in size. It was originally claimed that both varieties of the iPhone 16 Pro would have a larger chassis. This would also allow for a larger display on both models.
The iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display, while the "Pro Max" will have a 6.8-inch screen. The larger chassis will give the device more room to accommodate a periscope lens.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max features a tetraprism lens for 5x optical magnification. However, the smaller edition misses the upgrade due to its size. This suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro will include an improved camera system comparable to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
iPhone 16 Pro Innovations: Introducing Capacitive Capture Button and Enhanced AI Features
Aside from that, the informant adds Apple's plans to release the iPhone 16 Pro with a new capacitive button, as per WCCFTech. This is not the first time we have heard information about a flushed capacitive button.
It was previously reported that the "Pro" models would include a pressure-sensitive button beneath the Power or Side buttons. The new button could be dubbed the "Capture Button" and will conduct certain camera operations on the iPhone 16 Pro. According to previous reports, the capture button would handle the device's video-related features.
The Capture Button will be capacitive; thus, it will not protrude. The tipster believes the button is noticeably sunken, if not completely flat. It is still too early to finalize the design because the debut is months away.
Until the gadget hits mass production, there will be many specifics about the iPhone 16 Pro's design and form factor. Apple is also developing AI-related capabilities for the iPhone 16 Pro models, which will only be available on the smartphone thanks to the A18 Pro chip.
The insider also provided information about the iPhone 16, implying that it may include the capacity to capture spatial video. It will also have a design similar to the iPhone 12, with a vertical camera configuration. The camera sensors could collaborate with the new LiDAR scanner, which will collect depth details from photographs and videos. We will provide additional information as soon as it is available.
